Convert a statement

Free · in your browser · nothing guessed · for Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent and Sage

What StatementFlow does

StatementFlow takes the statement your bank gives you - a CSV or a PDF you download from online banking - and turns it into a file that Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent or Sage will accept, in about a minute. It sorts out the column names, the date format, and the money in and out, so the import works first time. The conversion happens in your browser, so your statement isn't uploaded to be converted, and it reads the real figures straight from the file, so nothing is guessed or mistyped. Before you download, it checks the numbers add up to the statement's own closing balance, so you know it's right. A photo or scan of a paper statement is the one thing it can't read.

Most PDF converters

Tools like DocuClipper upload your statement to their servers and OCR-guess the numbers off an image. Fine until a misread digit lands in your accounts - and they meter you by the page for it.

StatementFlow

Reads the real figures straight from your PDF or CSV, right in the browser - not uploaded to convert, nothing guessed - then checks every figure against the statement's own balance before you export. Built for the statements your bank already gives you, not photos of paper ones.

How it works

Three steps. Thirty seconds.

1

Get your statement from your bank

Download your CSV or your digital PDF statement - Monzo, Starling, Barclays, NatWest and the rest all offer one. It takes about 30 seconds.

2

Load the preset, drop the file

Pick your bank and accounting software. The column mapping loads automatically. Drop your CSV or PDF - StatementFlow maps the columns, reformats the values, and checks them against the statement balance.

3

Download the clean import file

Review the changes - what was renamed, what was reformatted. Download the file. Import it straight into Xero, QuickBooks, FreeAgent, or Sage.

That's the whole job.
