Monzo bank feed stopped in Xero

A stalled Monzo feed means new spending isn't reaching Xero. Reconnect to fix going forward — but you'll still need to import everything the feed missed while it was down.

Why the feed stopped

The Monzo–Xero feed uses Open Banking and needs re-consent every 90 days. When it lapses (or during a Monzo outage), transactions stop flowing from that date.

Reconnecting doesn't close the gap

After renewing, the days between the stop and now are still empty in Xero. Those have to be imported manually, cleanly, without duplicating what came through earlier.

The fix — import the missing transactions

Export a Monzo CSV for the missing period (Monzo app → Account → Export transactions → CSV), run it through the Monzo → Xero preset, and import. Names map to Description, dates are reformatted, signed amounts preserved — reconciles first time.
